A Memorable Stay at The Cottages at Bangeston HouseWe recently returned from our first visit to The Cottages at Bangeston House, and it was an unforgettable experience. Having stayed with Sarah and Al in their remarkable house last year, we were eager to explore the cottages this time. We weren’t disappointed!Nestled within the picturesque grounds of their property, these two idyllic cottages offer everything you could wish for. The fabulously equipped kitchen provided all the essentials, including salt, pepper, oil, and even coffee. I chuckled when my fiancé asked if I could cook a roast there—I assured him I could, but I was on holiday, so I’d rather not! That’s how perfect the kitchen is.The power shower offered a refreshing start to our days, and the cozy lounge, complete with a smart TV, allowed us to unwind and enjoy our evenings. The bedrooms were spot-on, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Our boys, both under six, had a blast. They loved the swing, and I must admit, I joined them in rolling down the hill—it’s hard to resist! Playing hide and seek in such a serene setting was just perfect. Their laughter echoed through the air, creating beautiful memories. And let’s not forget the Pembrokeshire area. With its castles, scenic walks, Dino Park, and Folly Farm, there’s no shortage of family-friendly activities. The best part? Everything is conveniently located within 30 minutes of Sarah and Al’s cottages. If you’re considering a stay, don’t hesitate. The Cottages at Bangeston House are the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit!Thank you, Sarah and Al, for making our holiday so special. 🌟Lots of love The Bromleys ❤️ xxxx

Great cosy cottage and a good price. Would certainly book again if we head to Pembrokeshire again. We'll equipped, clean and comfy. Only let down by the British weather

Very welcoming hosts and beautiful accommodation. The garden and outdoor space was terrific. So much to do in the locality, we feel like we've only scratched the surface. Personally, would love to head back in winter when the beaches would be empty and the cottages would be super cosy. Can't recommend the Cottages at Bangestone House highly enough. Excellent.

A perfect stay at the Stable Cottage at Bangeston House. Beautiful location with exceptional views. The cottage was wonderfully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Lot's of space and a lovely, huge garden for guests to use. Al and Sarah were so warm and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

So lucky to stay at this hidden gem. Cottages are gorgeous, everything you could want or need for a holiday. Cosy but still spacious. We had our pup with us on our first holiday, really nice touches to make her welcome too, with dog bowl and blanket. The garden was great for the kids (and adults!), really nice place to sit out too.Loads to do nearby but also great to just chill. Hopefully be back soon!

The Cottages at Bangeston House

Welcome to Bangeston House – The perfect base to explore the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. The cottages are former cow sheds and are full of rustic charm with open beams.  The farmhouse and buildings date back 400 years but we are no longer a working farm.  Our only animals are 4 dogs and a cat.

Easy access and minutes away to Amroth (the start of the coastal path), Tenby and Saundersfoot.

A perfect bolthole for ramblers, beachcombers and romantics.

Narberth is a beautiful little town a few miles away with loads of foodie delights and its very own food festival in September.

There are tons of walks around the area, including a great walk from Bangeston House to Wisemans Bridge where there is a gorgeous beach and tavern. Alternatively, there are a selection of beautiful woodland walks, or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, take a boat trip to Caldey Island to visit the monastery, or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins.

There are TONS of local attractions including:

Family-friendly parks, farms and attractions, watersports, coastal walks, beaches, and of course castles! Take a look at Visit Pembrokeshire for further info.

The cottages are compact and cosy but with everything you need for a break away.  We live in the farmhouse next door and will have friends and family visiting us on a regular basis but your space is your own for the time you’re with us and you will have your own separate garden for the cottages.

We moved to Stepaside from Sussex in March 2021 and have been renovating with new (well stocked) kitchens, bathrooms and flooring. Each cottage has a double and a twin bedroom with stable cottage having an additional cabin bed built into the wall.  This would be suitable for an older child.

There are breathtaking views here with stunning sunrise/sets over the farmland surrounding Bangeston House.  There’s also a pub and shop minutes away up the lane.  Our only other neighbour is the farm next door.

Despite being in a rural location on a (non working) farm we have great facilities and the, all important WIFI.  There’s also a great outside space with a courtyard and parking and then a large field garden for our guests with a seating area, swing, games and a disposable barbecue on request.

We’re dog-friendly! Both the courtyard and the guest garden are enclosed and safe for your beloved pets.

The cottages are next to each other so both could be rented for a larger party sleeping 9 comfortably.

We hope to welcome you soon. Sarah & Alan Bentley.
